Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Diners consistently praise the quality of the meat at Seoul Korean BBQ, with favorites like Wagyu beef and bulgogi taking center stage. The wisely curated menu offers a variety of options, ensuring there's something for everyone, whether you prefer flavorful small plates or heartier entrees. The Korean Fried Chicken, particularly the assorted flavors, garners rave reviews, highlighting both its crispiness and rich taste without the greasiness.

The banchan—small side dishes—adds an authentic touch, with guests enjoying unique flavors and generous portions of gimbap and kimchi. The relaxed atmosphere complements the social experience of sharing food with friends, enhancing the sense of community inherent in Korean dining. The tea selection is a standout feature, providing a refreshing complement to meals.

Most Disliked

While most diners leave happy, some mention the limited variety of complimentary banchan offered. A few have expressed disappointment regarding the cost of soft drinks, which can be on the pricey side, taking a bite out of the overall value, especially with items like Aloe King priced at £4.50. A common feedback point is the experience of long wait times during peak hours, especially on weekends when crowds flock to enjoy the popular dishes. Guests who arrive without reservations might experience challenges finding seating at busy times, so planning ahead is a smart idea.

Had a lovely time here with my partner and friend! The staff were lovely and gave us a good recommendation on how much we should order for 3 people, they made sure we didn’t order too much! The meat was fresh and tasted great, and the fried chicken was delicious 🥰 would definitely come back for more!

Had a fantastic time at Seoul - it was our first time, and we are lovers of Korean BBQ. We ordered the Set 2 from the BBQ menu - the staff were incredibly helpful in recommending what to get based on the size of our party. They even let us sub one item from the set for something we’d prefer. We also ordered the Jjamppong (big enough to share four small bowls), Korean Fried Chicken (regular which comes with sauce and radish on the side) - not greasy at all and a great crunch. Overall, fantastic. Although soft drinks were very pricey. (£4.50 for an Aloe King is dear!)

I've been in the UK for 3 years and this is by far the best Korean restaurant I've ever been to. My friend told me they just released new fried chicken flavors so I had to give it a try. And it was BANGING!! I ordered five flavor combo, which was cheese boneless chicken, sweet & spicy chicken, gang-jeong boneless chicken, soy sauce garlic chicken and boneless chicken with shredded scallions. All of them are sweet, salty, savoury, and not tangy at all (I hate my fried chicken tangy 🥲). I also ordered haemul-tang, which is seafood soup. Delicious as always! Again, if you are a fan of Korean fried chicken, it's a miss if you don't try this place. Service 10/10

Ban chan- Grilled eggplant & pickled cucumber, unique flavor not sure what pickled with but gentle flavor. Tteokboki- Perfectly cooked, not super spicy nice bite from the fish cakes and veg. Gimbap- Big portion! Thick slices of ginbap, not dry despite size. Flavors are light and refreshing. Mulnengmyun- Great flavors individually, broth is crisp, kimchi radish, cucumber & asian pear well balanced. Beef was a bit dry and a thicker slice than I would have preferred but did not take away from the meal. Had originally wanted the spicy and was advised that the spicy was dry (no broth) but was more than happy to offer the spicy sauce on the side for my regular nengmyon. Happy to give boxes for take away, even advised a good way to reheat the gimbap. Went early so not to busy, look forward to trying their BBQ

Our first meal in Glasgow was delicious with this Korean BBQ. Quality of the meat was excellent and the dipping sauces. Would have been better if they had more free banchan choices as you even had to purchase kimchi to go with the grill. Overall it was a good experience.

Best Korean food and best korean fried chicken I have tasted in Glasgow. They also have the BBQ grill option which I have not tried yet. This place is a hidden gem an becoming more and more popular via word of mouth. I will let the pictures do the talking now.

- Friendly staff, decent atmosphere - Customizable (Ordered Ttekbokki without fishcakes, Kimchi fried rice without the fried egg on top and they happily complied) - Reasonable pricing - Potato Pancakes were a bit too thick and lacking crispness of a great Korean pancake. It’s an amazing place though for quick, filling, authentic food. Highly recommend!
